The WS2811 and WS2812 are types of intelligent control LED light source that are based on a single-wire control protocol. They are often used to create colorful lighting effects in devices such as LED strips, holiday decorations, and stage lighting. The WS2811 is a 3-channel LED driver with an internal processor that allows it to receive data over a single wire, while the WS2812 is a newer version with a built-in LED that integrates the driver into the LED itself.
